As an intern you are probably the lowest person on the totem pole; as a result you will probably be assigned some seemingly meaningless tasks. However you can show your supervisor your work ethic and the fact that you have a positive attitude by getting the task done without complaining. If you prove your self indispensable you might just find your self in a permanent position.
